I completed my Ph.D. in Second Language Acquisition and Teaching at the University of Arizona in May 2015 and am now an assistant professor at Texas A&M University at Corpus Christi. My research interests are corpus linguistics, language pedagogy, corpus approaches to discourse analysis, L2 writing, language ecology, and ecolinguistics, My current research pursues an integration of corpus linguistics and ecology/ecolinguistics for the investigation of environmental discourse as well as a corpus-aided approaches for L2 writing. My work also explores applications of corpus linguistics for language classrooms.
